Despite the crackdown, it's easy to find other BitTorrent web sites. Although none of them currently have the reach of sites such as SuprNova or TVTorrents. While it's probably impossible to shut them all down, BitTorrent was never designed to be an anonymous file-sharing protocol, so it's relatively easy to discover who is seeding the files.

Some sites give the option of downloading from the Web site or from an available BitTorrent link (such as the machinima production RedvsBlue.com). Because Internet traffic usually costs Web site operators money, its usually best to use BitTorrent but for overall speed, you should choose depending on time of day (considering the time zones of all the other users too):

Remember that you do not need to pay for Bittorrent; you do not need to pay for the software or access to both free and illegal Bittorrent sites. There is nothing like a good reminder every now and then for everyone.

While the list of BitTorrent websites changes as websites are shut down over the years, there are some staple websites everybody should visit. There are ... good websites which list the best BitTorrent websites and what their specialty are.
