The Biology Textbook used in both Biology and Advance Biology classes is "Biology" by Miller & Levine, Prentice Hall, 1998 edition. It has its errors and over-simplifications but is better than most High School texts. It is a good general textbook to use as a reference.

Companion CD is a multimedia companion to the printed biology textbook. This contains all of the multimedia add-ons that can be found on the Exploring Creation With Biology CD-ROM, but excludes the text of the course. This is the perfect thing for those who want to use a printed textboook but are interested in the extras that can be found on the CD-ROM. The videos and animations are viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer. this CD does not use the Internet. Microsoft Internet Explorer is simply utilized as the user interface because it is easy to use and is familiar to most students.

Contains Teri Leo's and Don McLeroy's anti-scientific letters and the TCS's reasoned replies that reveal their unethical distortions and misrepresentations of evolutionary theory.

Biology: Concepts and Applications is an introductory college textbook, but it is ... appropriate for an advancement-placement high-school course -- provided that the students really have the necessary preparation. It has been written with the assumption that its readers already have studied basic high-school biology as well as some chemistry.
