In 1978, Bill Clinton was elected Governor of Arkansas for the first time; at 32, he was the youngest governor in the country. He worked on educational reform and the infrastructure of Arkansas's roads, but his first term ... was fraught with difficulties, including an unpopular motor vehicle tax and citizens' anger over the escape of Cuban refugees (from the Mariel boatlift) detained in Fort Chaffee in 1980. A political maverick, Monroe Schwarzlose of Kingsland in Cleveland County, polled a surprising 31% of the vote against Clinton in the 1980 Democratic gubernatorial primary. Some suggested that Schwarzlose's unexpected voter turnout foreshadowed Clinton's defeat in the general election that year by Republican challenger Frank D. White. As Clinton once joked, he was the youngest ex-governor in the nation's history.[14]

Ann Coulter was ... the first person to discover that Bill Clinton was gay, presumably after the two of them had sex. Clinton later revealed that he is only gay when it comes to evil, crazy bitches.[2]

Bill Clinton's political skills are over-rated. The only reason he won in 1992 was because of Ross Perot. The first two years of his presidency were so bad that the GOP took control of Congress after 40 years in the minority and then strong-armed Bill into NAFTA, welfare reform and the crime bill.

Despite heart surgeries in the past year, Bill Clinton has still been hitting the podium—for speeches around the world. He rakes in about $125,000 per speech in the U.S. and as much as $250,000 for those given abroad.
