The Bichon Frise is a descendent from the Barbet or now extinct Water Spaniel Barbichon, later shortened to the name Bichon. Bichons were divided into four groups: The Bichon Maltais, the Bichon Bolognais, the Bichon Havanais, and the Bichon Teneriffe. All of these groups originating in the Mediterranean area.

Pictured on flat paper before being fashioned into a hand formed shade, the bichon frise night lights are constructed from archival ink on translucent paper. With safety in mind, nightlight shades have a high 451 degree burn-point. Each shade clips securely onto an included UL-listed socket and virtually heatless 4 watt bulb.
