The targeted release date for Firefox 3 Beta 3 is now February 11 and follow on Beta 4 is "tentatively" scheduled for February 26, according to Firefox meeting notes posted on Mozilla.org Tuesday. With Beta 2, Parallels has improved the software's Coherence technology so that now Mac users can minimize any Windows screen to the dock as they would with any normal Mac-based application screen. Other Coherence enhancements include support for Exposé and Transparent Windows and the ability to silently boot into Coherence mode.

(Click to Enlarge) TechCrunch wrote an interesting article today regarding how the Google Toolbar 5 Beta for Internet Explorer “hijacks” the browser’s 404 error page. When you have the toolbar installed Google will look to see if the page you’re looking for doesn’t exist, and it will try to point you in the right direction if that’s the case.
