Joey Belladonna, former lead singer of the legendary group Anthrax from 1985-92 and 2005-06, has been featured on over 10 albums that have sold over 8 million records worldwide. During that time, Belladonna has shared the stage with Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Alice in Chains, Dio, Public Enemy, Living Color, Primus, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Testament, Overkill, Exodus, Helloween, Rob Zombie, Judas Priest and many others. Also during this time Joey sang the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden and the Metro Dome in Minnesota for the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings. In 1988 he starred in the underground cult classic film, "Pledge Night".

Belladonna has been successfully cultivated in the neighbourhood of Leningrad since 1914, and already good crops have been obtained, the richness of the stems in alkaloids being noteworthy. It is stated that in consequence of the success that has attended the cultivation of Belladonna in Russia, it will no longer be needful to employ German drugs in the preparation of certain alkaloids. Much is ... being collected wild in the Caucasus and in the Crimea. It is hoped that if sufficient stocks can be raised in Britain, not only will it be unnecessary to import Belladonna, but that it may be possible to export it to those of our Dominions where the climate and local conditions prevent its successful culture, though at present it is still included among the medicinal plants of which the exportation is forbidden.

In later interviews, Belladonna claimed that she had never intended to make "anti-porn" statements, and that Primetime had deliberately taken many of her statements out of context in order to give the segment a negative slant. It is said that when taken by accident, the poisonous effects of Belladonna berries may be prevented by swallowing as soon as possible an emetic, such as a large glass of warm vinegar or mustard and water. In undoubted cases of this poisoning, emetics and the stomach-pump are resorted to at once, followed by a dose of magnesia, stimulants and strong coffee, the patient being kept very warm and artificial respiration being applied if necessary. A peculiar symptom in those poisoned by Belladonna is the complete loss of voice, together with frequent bending forward of the trunk and continual movements of the hands and fingers, the pupils of the eye becoming much dilated.

Belladonna has appeared in over 100 features since her debut, each one of them showcasing a woman who came across as the epitome of over-the-top hardcore strumpet. In 'Bring Um Young,' she took on Vince Voyeur and Mickey G in a torrid DP segment, while in 'Weapons of Ass Destruction,' Belladonna and Jules Jordan delved into a super-hot fling. She showed off her taste for her fellow females in VCA's 'Ex-Girlfriends Club,' joining Chloe and Daisy Chain for some steamy Sapphic sizzle.

With several projects in the works, Belladonna is gearing up to re-release his first solo album and record a new album. With some songs already laid down, Belladonna is currently writing and recording in his downtime between shows. This will be his first official release since 1998’s Spells of Fear.
