Baywatch was an American television series that revolved around the Los Angeles County Lifeguards, who keep a watch on the crowded beaches of Los Angeles County, California. It was first aired on NBC in 1989; ... it was terminated after just one season due to the high production cost and low ratings. In the year 1991, the series was revived by David Hasselhoff, one of the leading cast members of Baywatch. He took up the responsibility of executive producer. The show was a huge success internationally and it led to the sequel Baywatch Nights and a reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.
Gregory J. Bonann worked as a Los Angeles County lifeguard, and started up a motion picture project about lifeguards that eventually became Baywatch. Baywatch premiered on NBC in 1989, but was cancelled after only one season because of the high cost of producing it and low ratings. Feeling the series still had potential, David Hasselhoff revived it for the first-run syndication market in 1991, investing his own money and additionally functioning as executive producer. The show was hugely successful, especially internationally. The show led to a spin-off: Baywatch Nights and a reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.
Baywatch Nights Photo Lou co-starred in the first season of David Hasselhoff's Baywatch spinoff, Baywatch Nights. He played the role of the owner of a blues club that was the headquarters for the main character's, Mitch's detective agency.
