1. Batman
   The superhero Batman was the brainchild of cartoonist Bob Kane. The character first appeared in Detective Comics in 1939, and was such a hit that Batman comics remained in print in one form or another into the 21st century. Batman is the "caped crusader," the crimefighting alter-ego of millionaire Bruce Wayne. Wayne inherited a fortune as a boy after his parents were killed by robbers; when Wayne grew up he dedicated himself to fighting crime and chose the guise of a bat in order to strike fear into the hearts of criminals. (Unlike Superman and Spider-Man, Batman is a human with no supernatural powers.) Batman lives in Gotham City and operates out of his secret crime laboratory, the Bat Cave. He battles exotic supervillains including the Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman and the Penguin, and is often aided by a sidekick, Robin the Boy Wonder.
2. Batman -- Batman Forever
   Like both of the previous Batman films, Batman Forever's greatest weakness is the story. Once again, the screenwriters fail to offer a compelling plot. Instead, they string together a series of subplots that do not add up to a compelling whole.
3. Batman Returns -- Batman Robin
   According to conventional wisdom, 1992’s Batman Returns was a badly flawed film. The existence of 1997’s Batman and Robin meant that it wouldn’t be seen as the worst of the four, but most fans seem to prefer 1989’s Batman and 1995’s Batman Forever.
4. Batman Forever -- Batman Robin
   The new Anthology DVD set includes the first four Batman films: Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin. Each comes in a two-disc pack (that's eight discs total), with commentary tracks, making-of featurettes, music videos, and deleted scenes (for Forever and Robin). Extra points for an impressive box design.
5. Batman -- Batman Returns
   Despite his reputation as a loner, Batman works with many people in his fight against crime. For much of Batman's history, a teenager serves as the youthful sidekick Robin. The first Robin, Dick Grayson, eventually leaves his mentor and becomes the hero Nightwing. The second Robin, Jason Todd, is beaten to death by the Joker but later returns as an adversary. Tim Drake, the third Robin, first appears in 1989 and aspires to be as good a detective as Batman. Alfred Pennyworth is Bruce Wayne's loyal butler and father figure, and ... aids Batman by maintaining the Batcave while Lucius Fox sees to his business and charitable interests.
6. Batman -- John Batman
   John Batman had the potential to become one of the more revered names in Australian history. He is the only native-born Australian to found a state capital city. He spoke Aboriginal languages and was one of the few people of his time to attempt to compensate Aborigines for the use of their land. In fact, had things turned out differently, Melbourne might now be known by one the names proposed early in its settlement - Batmania!
7. Batman -- Batman Begins
   The visuals in Batman Begins are very effective, and they really throw around some great Gotham atmosphere. It's of course dark during just about every mission, even though there are usually impressive bloom effects with the lighting combined with some detailed environments. Batman himself has been modeled and animated fairly well, even if some of his climbing animations look hilariously bad. The faces all resemble the movie's original actors well, and they're voiced by the film's cast. This aspect of the game was put together beautifully, even if it turns out that the meat of the game - the action - just doesn't stick out as anything unique or even really engaging.
8. Batman -- Characters
   The character of Batman has always been appealing to toy manufacturers because of the many vehicles and gadgets the character uses. Mego was quick to exploit Batman with many Bat related playsets and vehicles.
9. Batman -- Nightwing
   Batman is the most bad ass Super Hero in existence. Jews believe the alter ego of Batman is Bill Richardson. Others claim that Stephen Colbert is actually Batman. This could be caused by Batman's tendency to beat up Bears.
10. Batman Forever
    Batman Forever is a 1995 superhero film based on the fictional DC Comics character Batman. It is the third film in the Batman film franchise and the first one directed by Joel Schumacher, who replaced Tim Burton, the director of the first two films in the franchise, Batman and Batman Returns. It is ... the first and only film in the franchise to star Val Kilmer as Batman, who replaced Michael Keaton from the first two films. The film also marked the series debut of Robin. The film's cast included Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, Chris O'Donnell, Nicole Kidman, Drew Barrymore and Debi Mazar. However, Michael Gough, who featured in the first two films, returned to reprise the character Alfred in this film.
