A forensic scientist testified Tuesday at Robert Blake's murder trial that the former Baretta star had far less gunshot residue on his hands than would have been expected if he had shot his wife. Celia Hartnett reanalyzed results presented earlier in the trial by the prosecution.

Baretta debuted mid-season in January, 1975 and was an immediate winner, at least by '75 ABC standards. A subsequent Emmy win that year for the actor put Robert Blake on top of the world.
