Ad - Icon Collectibles - Powered By Sony BMG Music Entertainment In 1977, Bare received a major publicity push from Bill Graham the legendary rock concert promoter. Graham signed the singer to his management company, proclaiming that Bare was the "Springsteen of country music." Soon, the singer found new audiences at college campuses and in Canada. He switched record labels the same year, recording the self-produced Bare for Columbia Two years later, he released Sleeper Whenever I Fall which featured contributions from Rodney Crowell and rearranged rock & roll songs like the the Rolling Stones "The Last Time" and the Byrds "Feel a Whole Lot Better." Bare resumed his collaboration with Silverstein in 1980, releasing the live collection Down and Dirty which spawned two humorous hits, "Numbers" and "Tequila Sheila." The following year, he released As Is which showed that he was continuing to record a diverse selection of songwriters, including Townes Van Zandt J.J.
Shaun Himmerick and Fuzzy Gerdes are Bare It’s hard to believe, but Bare is just two men: Fuzzy Gerdes and Shaun Himmerick. They’ve been performing together in one group or another for ten years (with a break for Shaun’s unmentionable Colorado years). They both have impeccable improv pedigrees, with training from institutions like the ImprovOlympic and Annoyance Theater and from instructors like Del Close, Mick Napier, and Keith Johnstone. These days they live in the same apartment in Chicago, argue over whose turn it is to do the dishes, and work on their wildly inventive improv.

1985 Attesting to the increased popularity of the Bare Chest Calendar, the two dinner/date auctions of the 2003 calendar men brought in $13000 and $11000 respectively, nearly double the amount and a record for this event. And in 2004, a single contestant was auctioned for a record bid of almost $3000. The dinner/date auctions have been in part successful due to the witty information and interaction by its emcee, Lenny Broberg, International Mr. Leather 1992. Lenny emceed the dinner/date auctions from 1992 to 2005.

Beta Banner 2 Even though he was having some modest success, Bare decided he wasn't fulfilled playing pop music. Instead, he turned back to country developing a distinctive blend of country folk and pop In 1962, Chet Atkins signed him to RCA Records By the end of the year, he had a hit with "Shame on You," which was notable for being one of the first records out of Nashville to make concessions to the pop charts by featuring horns. The production worked, as the single broke into the pop charts. The following year, he recorded Mel Tillis and Danny Dill s "Detroit City," which became his second straight single to make both the country and pop charts. Bare followed up the single with a traditional folk song, "500 Miles from Home." It was another big hit for the singer, peaking in the Top Ten on both the country and pop charts.
The “Bare” has been a huge success in 2006. Although it is a little harder to apply than the standard Easyboot Epic, the Bare provides a simple, close-fitting boot that constantly adjusts to the hoof. The boot is designed to stretch and flex, mimicking the movements of the naturally bare hoof. Check out the 2007 model with the lower profile comfort strap, thicker bungee and improved rivets.
