  1. Destiny's Child -- Albums
Kelly Rowland, a member of Destiny's Child, is releasing a solo album "Simply Deep" this fall. Kelly's inspiration came from her life as a star with a busy schedule. She was photographed just before a performance when the last touches were being added to hair and make-up wearing the Lovable black satin corset. A Lovable sculpted one-piece, foam bra in sheer black over nude, hangs from her chair. Kelly's charity, Bread of Life Inc., supports underprivileged families with the aim of moving them from "total dependency" to "self-sufficiency."
  2. 3 Doors Down
After selling 12 million albums since their debut in 2000, 3 Doors Down are releasing their third studio album entitled Seventeen Days (Republic/Universal) on February 8, 2005. The album, recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, Tennessee and produced by Johnny K (Finger 11, Disturbed) features twelve original songs including the road weary ballad "Landing In London" which features Bob Seeger. The record's first single "Let Me Go" was released to rock radio in December 2004 and is already Top 10 on most rock stations nationwide and climbing the Top Twenty of Billboard's various rock charts, including #9 Mainstream Rock (1/29/05) and #16 Modern Rock (1/29/05). The corresponding video for "Let Me Go" was added to national formats (Jan 28) and features young actors Jodi Lyn O'Keefe (Boston Legal) and Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives). No stranger to hit singles, 3 Doors Down have had six #1 singles - "Kryptonite," "Duck & Run," "Loser," "Be Like That," "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You," making them one of the most popular and consistently successful rock bands in recent history. According to Billboard Magazine, they were the first debut act to ever have had a #1 single at four different radio formats simultaneously with "Kryptonite" and the quintet went on to win the 2003 Billboard Music Awards for "Best Pop/Rock Group" and "Best Hot 100 Single," as well as earning the distinction of seeing "When I'm Gone" become the most played song in 2003 according to the Nielson Vegas for Artist of the Year: Modern AC Radio.
  3. Doors Down
One of the most successful rock bands to have emerged in recent years, 3 Doors Down is considered a phenomenon within the music industry. Often called 3DD, this five-piece outfit came out of small-town Mississippi to become a record-breaking act whose two albums and handful of singles have sold in the millions. The band became the first debut act in the history of the record charts to hit number one concurrently in Modern Rock, Active Rock, Album Rock, and Heritage Rock radio formats. 3DD accomplished this feat with its single "Kryptonite," a track that uses Superman imagery to explore the question of what would happen to someone who, after having been placed on a pedestal, does something to damage his or her image. The group is lauded for bringing melody, hooks, wholesomeness, and a straightforward approach back to rock 'n' roll which, at the time that the group put out its first CD in early 2000, often was considered to be in its dying stages or to have been co-opted by genres such as rap/rock, punk, and heavy metal.
  4. Bow Wow
Lil' Bow Wow was born Shad Gregory Moss on March 9, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio, and was raised in nearby Reynoldsburg. He was a middle child, a brother between two sisters. It didn't take long for his musical talents to surface. "He'd pick up my kitchen utensils and combs and brushes and start rapping," his mother, Teresa Caldwell, told Jet. By the time he was three it was clear that Shad (the name still used by his friends) was something special, and his mother began to enter him in talent shows around the Columbus area. He began performing under the name of Kid Gangsta.

  6. Destiny S Child -- Destiny's Child
After three years apart, achieving individual success in movies, on Broadway, endorsements and with solo albums, the three women of Destiny's Child reunited with a new album, Destiny Fulfilled. A worldwide concert tour, sponsored by McDonald's, Destiny Fulfilled and Lovin' It, hit 16 countries and over 75 cities worldwide, kicking off in Hiroshima, Japan on April 9, 2005, and ending in Vancouver, Canada; stops included Australia, Europe, and the U.S. and Canada. "Lose My Breath" the album's first single, produced by Rodney Jerkins, became the group's ninth Top 10 Hot 100 hit. The album saw the trio shift to a harder, 'urban' sound and was released in November 2004. The album ... saw greater equality in the trio, with each member contributing to writing on all tracks on the album, as well as becoming executive producers aside Matthew Knowles. This was also evident in the photography, as Beyonce no longer assumed the central position- this was now occupied by Michelle and Kelly - who are the central figure on the cover of the 'Destiny Fulfilled' album, as well as a lot of the accompanying photography and posters promoting the album.
