The Backstreet Boys... known as BSB, was created by aviation entrepreneur Lou Pearlman, who got them a recording contract with Jive Records. They launched their first single "We've Got It Goin' On" in 1994; although the song didn’t do too well in the US, it earned them their first Gold Disc in Germany. The band launched their first album titled Backstreet Boys in 1995. They were an instant success with their record reaching the top 10 Pop artist charts in various countries. Thereafter, the band’s success knew no bounds; they toured overseas for the next 2 years making Backstreet Boys a household name all over the world. In 1998, the group performed a live show to generate funds for tornado victims in Orlando.
