Avril Lavigne Songs Avril Lavigne is to release her own scent and beauty line. The songstress has reportedly filed an application with the U.S. patent and trademark department for her products. Amongst the items mentioned in the list are "perfumery; after-shave; bath oil; bath soap; shower gel; body shampoo" and "body lotion,” claim website ContactMusic.com. Other pop stars that have launched their perfumes include fellow singers Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Hilary Duff.

As she grew older Lavigne gained a reputation as a tomboy who preferred family outings like dirt biking or camping over dating. Some say this is because all her songs sound like they were written by a blind elephant with a banjo, but Avril maintains it is in protest.
