Avril Lavigne has revealed how her new clothing line will be. "It's rock glam: fun, colorful, young and edgy,” she tells Us Weekly. The label, titled Abbey Dawn after the nickname her father calls her, will be released at Kohl's stores nationwide this July. Avril describes the collection as ‘sexy’ and ‘flattering’. She is planning to sport the line during her Best Damn Tour performances. The collection includes jeans, tees and hoodies in bright colors and skull and zebra patterns.

During Avril Lavigne's performace of her upcoming fourth single "The Best Damn Thing" last night, a preview of the video was displayed on screen! Pictures taken at the concert show Avril dancing in a cheerleader costume (complete with bright, sparkling pom-poms!), and another image shows her wearing a hot pink wig while dressed in a long, lime coloured dress! Dubbed Abbey Dawn (Lavigne's childhood nickname), the back-to-school juniors' collection will draw on the eclectic contents of Lavigne's own closet: "a lot of hot pinks and blacks and stars and purple and zebra," she says. "Basically, everything I wear." (But nope, there's nary a necktie.)
