The Division of Speech Pathology and Audiology provides comprehensive diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation and management of speech and hearing disorders. Services are provided to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric individuals. Patients served have a wide variety of congenital, developmental, and acquired disorders. Specialty programs include augmentative communication and assistive technology, auditory processing assessment, cleft palate board, cochlear implant, dysphagia diagnostics, fluency training, foreign accent modification, hearing aid dispensary, hearing assessment, literacy assessment, newborn hearing screening, and acoustic/aerodynamic and videostroboscopic evaluations of voice disorders, post-stroke and closed head injury rehabilitation.

To practice audiology, professionals need to have either Bachelors/Masters degree in Audiology and be registered with Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA) or Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
