Massaro said Wrestlemania 23 meant a lot to her because she's always been a fan of professional wrestling. The audience of 80,103 rabid fans at Ford Field was the largest for which she has ever performed. She said coming up into the WWE and somehow being able to make it to the top has been an amazing ride. But before her championship match, like all of the Superstar Challenge competitors, she volunteered to play the new WWE game in front of 750 fans at the Gem Theater.

As part of a new annual tradition, Ashley was picked to appear on the cover of the Playboy magazine that would hit newsstands during WrestleMania season. The WWE Women's Champion, Melina, became infuriated about all the press Ashley was receiving for being a "tramp" while the press should be clamoring for her since she is the women's champion. At WrestleMania 23, Ashley lost to Melina.

Massaro received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a minor in Business from State University of New York. She describes herself as spunky, quirky, optimistic, happy, resourceful, creative, adaptable and relentless. She is obsessed with all things music.
