After a while Arwen was alowed to go over to her mother's friend's house by her self. He watched day after day as Arwen sild her nimble fingers over sculptures and the paintings. He wanted to know that touch too. He had imagined it. Of course Arwen was obliviouse. Arwen never noticed. He continued on with this, dropping hints and things.

In 2509, Arwen's mother Celebrian was captured by Orcs in the Redhorn Gate and was tormented and wounded. Although she was rescued by her sons and healed in body by her husband, Celebrian remained troubled by terrible memories and she chose to leave Middle-earth the next year.
