Arnold Schwarzenegger was born on July 30, 1947 to Gustav and Aurelia Schwarzenegger in the small village of Thal, just outside of Graz, in Austria. Arnold’s father was the local chief of police, and Arnold ... had an older brother named Meinhard. Arnold’s brother would be the first to pass away in a car accident in 1971. The following year, 1972 Arnold’s father would pass away, and then in 1998 Arnold’s mom would pass away, leaving Arnold as the only living member of his immediate family.
