Army Men: Air Combat is the first Army Men game to include multiplayer. It's extremely similar to the Playstation game, Army Men: Air Attack, with some changes. These mostly deal with the N64s +2 controller ports. The main story mode can be played co-op style, or you can play a 4 person Capture the Flag or Rescue game.

The Army Men: Sarge's War game follows the exploits of Sarge, now an army of one. The Tan Army has unleashed a weapon of unimaginable destruction on the Green Army, reducing Sarge's platoon to a pile of melted plastic. Players will take control of Sarge as he goes renegade to avenge the death of his squad. Army Men: Sarge's War is harder edged than previous Sarge's Heroes titles, with more emphasis on combat tactics, advanced AI, thrilling destruction effects, and fast-paced, action-packed firefights.

The Army Men series continues, this time in the real-time strategy genre. As the commander of the Green army, you must manage your soldiers and resources to find and eliminate the evil Colonel Blintz. Much like in other real-time strategy games, you can build bases, vehicles, and armies to prepare your team for war.

The Army Men series is never set in a specific date in any of the games. In a few of the games, modern weapons such as the M16A2 can be seen, but in other episodes the vehicles and weapons seen are from the World War II or the Vietnam War era, with weapons & vehicles such as the M-16 A1 rifle, M-48 Patton tank, M-79 grenade launcher. However, modern choppers such as the AH-64 Apache can be obtained in Army Men: Air Combat. Famous battles such as the Normandy landing are imitated, and the style of fonts and film quality mimic the style of the 1940s.

In "Army Wives," an unlikely tribe is formed when four women and one man create a bond based on one common theme: they all love a soldier who could die at any moment. Yet, they are all isolated by secrets that buck the armed forces system. They include: Claudia Joy Holden (Delaney), strong and respected wife of Colonel Michael Holden (McNamara), who the other women admire; Denise Sherwood (Bell), a devoted homemaker to her Major husband and teenage son, who harbors a shocking secret; Pamela Moran (Brannagh), a former cop, now earning money as a surrogate, who must keep her secret or face blackballing by the other women in their tight knit community; Roxy LeBlanc (Pressman), a feisty woman from the wrong side of the tracks who marries a soldier, Trevor (Fuller), after only knowing him for a few days. Now instantly living with her children on the post, she quickly experiences the politics of being housed in an ultra competitive environment. The "wives" ... includes one husband, Roland Burton (Brown), who is trying to adapt to his Lieutenant Colonel wife's (Davis) post-traumatic stress syndrome after her return from the war.
