Armageddon: Battles
built 217 days ago
The upside of battle of Armageddon is that humanity will finally experience peace on Earth which will last for almost 1000 years. The battle will be a spiritual cleansing of the world preparing people for a new kind of sattvik world which will radically differ from the old one. In a way, this will be an ushering of a mini Satyayuga within the main era of Kaliyuga. While it will be nothing compared to the sattvikta of the main era of Satyayuga (at the beginning of the Universe), it will be a period of immense spiritual renewal for mankind.

Notwithstanding the popular concept of the Battle of Armageddon, the Bible makes no specific prediction for a war fought at Armageddon between two human armies precisely at Christs return. However, the Bible does say that the armies of the East and West will be drawn to the infamous valley by lying demons (Revelation 16:14). From there they will march to Jerusalem. There they will fight the returning Jesus Christ (Revelation 14:14-20; 16:14; 19:11-21; Joel 3:12-14).

Armageddon is the Hebrew name of a geographical location in Israel known as Megiddo. Megiddo is a hill which overlooks the Jezreel valley. It is here where, in the last days, Satan and the Antichrist will gather the world’s rulers for battle. As previously stated, a common misconception is that they gather together to make war against each other. But the passage never says this, and further examination of the context in which this event transpires will make it clear that this is not their motive.

The devil has a reason for deceiving everyone into thinking that Armageddon is a battle. As he does with every other Bible subject, the devil will have a counterfeit Armageddon, and it will be a battle. Satan will make the world believe that Bible prophecy has been fulfilled by this Counterfeit Battle of Armageddon. This deception about Armageddon will be part of his deception when he masquerades as Christ to make it appear as if Christ has returned at the expected time.
