The Argos-3 design is completely new and provides the very best “low cost” whole body coverage in the industry. It encompasses all of the superb features of the Argos-5 except that it has fewer detectors (18 versus 25). The removed detectors are replaced by blank-off plates and have been strategically chosen as those covering areas of the body least likely to be contaminated. Thus, the Argos-3 provides the absolute best value for the money in a surface contamination monitor.

The Lady Argos had six of their nine student-athletes in double figures. Laura Keaster (Sr., Belt, MT) led the way with 20 points and dished off six assists on 9-for-19 shooting. Great Falls native Kirilynn Winkler (Freshman) and junior Jocelyn Moore (Bethel, WA) each scored 15 points. Moore pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds while Winkled tallied 8 boards.

The ancient city-state of Argos had a nearby harbor, for trade and commerce. But Argos was located on a plain. The weather was hot and dry in the summer, and cold and wet in the winter. The soil was not especially fertile. The people of Argos had to fight to grow food. This they did, quite successfully.

One wonders what the Argos offense will indeed look like with the fact that it was a new system. Like any new system in its first year, it’s going to go through some growing pains. Nobody could have ever anticipated the incredible amount of injuries the offense did suffer this season. As for this year, Michael Bishop is expected to remain as the #1 QB, but one wonders what the deal is exercising the option on Damon Allen’s contract to keep him on. One hopes for Allen’s sake they are doing that to use it as trade bait but time will tell. Only other reason that they would nwant him around is in case Bishop has trouble in his second year as the Argos’ starter. At runningback, Robert Edwards will likely go into camp at the #1 spot.

The method of shopping in Argos differs from most traditional British and Irish high street retailers. Because most stock is held in stockrooms to which only staff have access, much more stock can be held per unit floor area than can be held in a traditional shop. Stock is typically housed in 3 metre high racks with numbered aisles, bays and shelves for fast and efficient acquirement of items. Argos often packages its goods in plain packaging or simple plastic bags, rather than smart packaging for shopfloor display. The fact that customers don't have direct access to most stock means that incidents of shoplifting and customers damaging stock are significantly reduced.
