Anna Vissi´s old record company MINOS-EMI brings out a Best-Of Album with 42(!) old hits from 1974-1981. The double cd contains hits such as "Sagapo", "Sta hronia tis ypomonis", "As kanoume apopse mian arhi", "Sou dosa na pieis", "Kitrino Galazio", "San ta pinasmena peristeria" and two remixes "Oso eho foni" and "Autos pou perimeno". Anna presented her new album "Antidote" in the biggest record store in Pireus, where over 5,000 fans turned out to meet her, an event that was repeated in Thessaloniki where Anna did not even manage to reach the store! In just seven days, Antitode sold over 80,000 copies, setting a new Greek sales record. She was ... presented with a triple platinum award for "Travma" by Sony Music Europe.

Anna is working on her new Greek CD with Nikos Karvelas. It is due to be released in the Fall and will be her first all-new studio album since her 2005 release Nylon. It has been reported that it will have a "a rock-tinged influence" and Vissi herself will pen several tracks, giving it a more "personal touch".[1]

Kravgi ist eines der besten Alben, die Anna Vissi bisher veröffentlicht hat. 24 Titel griechischer Pop zum Teil gekonnt gepaart mit folkloristischen Einschnitten. Eine gelungenes Album. Hörenswert sind alle Titel, doch meine Favoriten sind: "Kravgi", "Sadismos", "Choris to moro mou", "Kalitera i dio mas (Duett mit Keti Garbi", "Sxisofrenia", "Kardia apo petra", "Ola ta lefta", "Atmosferia ilektrismeni", "To poli poli", "To telefteo Tsigaro", "Kopike i grammi", "Nostalgia" und Agapi Ipervoliki".

Es ist einfach unglaublich - Anna Vissi steigert sich in den letzten Jahren von Album zu Album. Auf Nylon zeigt sie wieder einmal, wie vielseitig sie ist. Moderate Anleihen bei Techno und gefühlvolle griechische Balladen sind bei ihr kein Widerspruch, und auch dazwischen geht fast alles. Dieses Album kann man immer und immer.....
