Vickie Lynn Marshall (November 28, 1967 – February 8, 2007), better known under the stage name of Anna Nicole Smith,[1] was an American sex symbol, model, actress, celebrity, and spokeswoman. Her highly publicized marriage to oil business executive and billionaire J. Howard Marshall, 63 years her senior, resulted in speculation that she married the octogenarian for his money, which she denied. Following his death, she began a lengthy legal battle over a share of his estate; her case, Marshall v. Marshall, reached the U.S. Supreme Court on a question of federal jurisdiction.

MARCH 26--Anna Nicole Smith died from an accidental overdose of a powerful sedative that became lethal when mixed with nine other prescription drugs found in her system, according to a coroner's report released this morning. The combined toxicity of the sleeping medication, chloral hydrate, and the other drugs (including anti-anxiety Valium, Klonopin, and Ativan) resulted in the 39-year-old Smith's death, concluded Dr. Joshua Perper, the Broward County medical examiner. A copy of the coroner's report can be found below. The medical examiner's investigation ... found that "contributory causes" in Smith's death were a viral flu and an abscess that had developed on her buttock as a result of injections. Perper noted that the level of chloral hydrate--which is often used to combat insomnia and slows respiration--found in Smith's system was not, in itself, lethal. But combined with the other drugs, which were found at "therapeutic levels," the chloral hydrate proved lethal.
Much like her idol, the fabled Marilyn Monroe, the life of Anna Nicole Smith was destined to be tragically short. Far from a fairy tale, the story of Smith’s life read like a page of pulp fiction: abandoned by her father at two, raised in the backwaters of Texas, and shipped back and forth between relatives all through childhood. And yet – somehow, this lonely little girl, miraculously and against all odds, eventually went on to follow in Monroe’s footsteps to become a world-famous model and celebrity. Patterning herself after the legendary starlet, Smith kicked off her career just as Monroe had decades prior – by posing for Playboy. Unfortunately, with her deep depressions, heavy drug abuse and subsequent premature death, the 39-year old pin-up queen ... followed the legendary Monroe to an early grave, under equally mysterious circumstances.

Willa Ford in Anna Nicole Movie-Nude Photos and Trailer Wood later told The News: “The coverage of the tragic deaths of Anna Nicole Smith and her son, Daniel, has been permeated by false, sensationalized accusations. Ms. Cosby’s book … has taken the coverage to a disgusting new low for which she will be held legally accountable.”
Anna Nicole Smith might be dead but the drama surrounding her death is far from being buried. Eyewitness tell Hollyscoop exclusively that there is a picture of a naked Anna Nicole right after she 'overdosed' and passed away. Although the picture is technically floating around, it won't see the light of day until someone coughs up enough money for it.
