Anna Nicole Smith: Case

Anna Nicole wound up in federal court in the first place because she had to declare bankruptcy after losing a default judgment in an $830,000 sexual harassment suit brought in 1994 by her former nanny, Maria Antonia Cerrato. The case was later settled.
The Broward County, Fla., and Seminole police have ruled that Anna Nicole Smith's Feb. 8 death was the result of an accidental drug overdose. The autopsy results come more than six weeks after Smith was found unresponsive in a Hollywood, Fla., hotel room Feb. 8. She died several hours later at a nearby hospital. The official autopsy "essentially closes the case on the death of Anna Nicole Smith," Tiger told reporters, adding that police found no signs of foul play or criminal elements to her death. They ... found no illegal drugs.

Anna Nicole briefly owned her own soda company. Born 'Hulk Hogan' in Crawford, Texas, Anna displayed an abnormally low IQ at an early age, causing much speculation that she may be the illegitimate daughter of George W. Bush. DNA tests, coupled with her ability to succeed at something (in this case becoming a stripper), proved this claim to be totally inaccurate.
You may recall the case of bankruptcy partner William Smith, who found himself in the deep-fat fryer after telling a judge she was "a few French Fries short of a Happy Meal." Although the judge was upset, in the end Smith got a slap on the wrist.
