Angioedema occurring without urticaria can be due to a variety of causes such as medicines (e.g. aspirin, ACE inhibitors), or food allergies. Most commonly it is a component of chronic ordinary urticaria/ angioedema, where no cause can be identified.

Medicine Guides Survey Feeback Angioedema: This is a reaction caused by an allergy. It can most commonly cause swelling around the eyes, lips, hands or feet. Occasionally it may cause swelling of the throat, tongue or lungs all of which can make breathing difficult.
