Angelina Jolie is going to be playing the leading role in Clint Eastwood's latest drama "The Changeling", which is about a woman who goes missing in Los Angeles during the 1920's. According to the Hollywood Reporter, John Malkovich will be the co-star, and will be playing the role of a Wall Street Journal reporter named Daniel Pearl. The film, much like many of Eastwood's films, is based on true events. The Changeling is due for release in 2008.

In the widest U.S. release to date in Digital 3D, "Beowulf" grabbed roughly 40% of its estimated weekend gross from 740 Digital 3D screens, and 13% from 84 IMAX 3D screens. "Beowulf" represents Zemeckis' third highest domestic opening after "What Lies Beneath" and "Castaway."
