Eager to jump into championship contention in the American Le Mans Series' LMP2 class in 2008, Andretti Green Racing has signed Christian Fittipaldi to fill out its full-season lineup in the No. 26 XM Satellite Radio Acura. Fittipaldi, a member of another of racing's premier families, will team with Bryan Herta for the 12-round season.

Indianapolis, IN, January 31, 2003 - Andretti Green Racing (AGR) tonight confirmed its 2003 Indy Racing League driver and sponsor lineup and announced that it will manage three teams under the AGR umbrella. Known as Team 7-Eleven, sponsorship for Michael Andretti's #7 car will be provided by convenience store giant 7-Eleven® and its flagship brand Big Gulp®. Also known as Team 7-Eleven, Tony Kanaan's #11 car will be sponsored by several of 7-Eleven's vendors. AGR¡'s Dario Franchitti will pilot the #27 entry sponsored by Alpine, Archipelago and Motorola and driver Daniel Wheldon, who will race the majority of the season, will be sponsored by co-primary partners, Klein Tools and Jim Beam in the #26 car. Andretti Green Racing ... partners with Honda on all four of the team¡'s Tonight's event, which was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum, was also used to frame veteran racing star Michael Andretti's announcement that following this May's 87th running of the Indianapolis 500, he will retire from professional racing in order to devote his energies to his role as chief executive officer of AGR.

Andretti Green Racing uses UGS' NX digital product development software for all of the design and development work the company performs on its fleet of eight race cars. Although IRL rules limit the modifications a team can make to the car body and engine, engineers still have quite a bit of leeway in other areas such as the suspension. Fine-tuning these areas often means designing and fabricating new parts in the brief interval between races.

Andretti Green Racing was founded by Michael Andretti, Kim Green and Kevin Savoree in December 2002. Since then AGR has met with great success, collecting 23 IndyCar Series victories, and winning both the 2004 and 2005 IndyCar Series championship. In 2005, AGR competed in and won "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing," the Indy 500. This past year, AGR had eight podium finishes including two wins.
