American Airlines and American Eagle are two diffrent companies. American employess (mechanics) earn about 15 dollars an hour more than their American Eagle counterparts. The same is true for their pilots and attendants. American Employees have pension progams, Eagle doesn’t. American has more benefits than Eagle. Unions are wanting a bigger share of the investor pie and investors don’t want to give them anything.
