Allstate Insurance Company, under its present leadership, doesn't seem to recognize the obligation to weigh its Insured's well-being against the well-being of its profit margins. It seems that all too often in the choice between well-being of it's insureds and thefinancial well-being of the business, concealment is chosen over disclosure, and money over morality. What was once a great insurance company, with the proud name "Allstate", has become its own worst enemy.

IRVING, Texas, Nov. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Two thousand Texas homes are getting wired into the wind grid with a green donation from Allstate Insurance Company. The insurer will provide enough clean, renewable, wind energy to power the equivalent of 2,000 Texas homes for one year by purchasing 24.5 million kilowatts of wind energy from the Horse Hollow II wind energy farm in West Texas.
