Allison Mack is an American actress known for her lead role in WB’s series “Smallville”, created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. The show is about the explorations and activities of young Clark Kent before he becomes Superman. Allison was Clark’s friend in the series that debuted in 2001. Allison Mack was born in Preez, Germany, to opera singer Jonathan Mack and Mindy on July 29, 1982. Besides some print work, Allison started doing commercials at the age of four and has starred in “German Chocolate”, a TV commercial. She honed her acting skills at the Young Actors Space institute.

The 20-year-old German-born co-star of "Smallville" (she plays Clark Kent's good friend Chloe) started doing commercials when she was just 4, and by 7 had joined a theater group in California, clearly having inherited her stage lust from opera-singing dad Jonathan Mack. Before her current encounters with the soon-to-be Man of Steel, Mack ... held her own in a number of TV movies opposite such established talents as Eric Stoltz, Mary Tyler Moore, and Sissy Spacek. More movies may be in the future, but for now Mack seems comfortable calling "Smallville" home. "I'm very similar to my character," she told the U.K.'s Cult Times in April. "Of course, she's a character and she's a bit younger than I am, so she has immaturity in her.
