Alla Pugacheva is a Russian popular singer active since 1965. Greece's Nana Mouskouri has been singing even longer — since 1961. Her French record company recently released a box set of 34 CDs.

When Alla was asked what she thinks about other participants, she said she never heard any names of them, as they all are new artists on the stage. She decided to work with Swedish conductor, but explained that not as she was not able to find Russian one, but as it was interesting to work with different people. She added that the most important thing for her is to get maximum satisfaction from the music.

In early 1980's, when the famous Latvian composer Raymond Pauls arrived to Tbilisi with Alla Pugacheva (the most famous russian pop singer), they got to know about this romantic story. He was deeply impressed and few months later, his song went around the world. Alla of course agreed to interprete

It seems like every television channel in Russia was showing performances by Russian pop diva Alla Pugacheva during their recent holiday programming. She is well known for her many talents and has been involved in many – as it is now fashionable to say – “projects”. But there is at least one project in which she has not had success.
