Alienware Aurora m9700 gaming laptop has just been refreshed with new features such as 1GB of graphics memory and the new color options. The Aurora m9700 is now available with dual 512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics cards. In addition to Saucer Silver, the Aurora m9700 is now available in Conspiracy Blue and Cyborg Green color for additional $99.

While Alienware was able to build a great computer, it was an expensive acquisition. At over $3200 dollars, one would expect a very capable gaming computer with a lot of extras. The Aurora ended up not only being very quiet for a system at its performance level, but ... one which was easy to work with and fun to use. While an experienced computer builder could no doubt make a quiet computer or one with comparable performance, some of Alienware extras, like the internal watercooling system, ultra-neat interior, and distinctive case could be tough to match. Alienware does charge a lot for its upgrades, but they did make a noticeable improvement to the computer, especially the liquid cooling system.
