In fact, it is from her success in serving attorneys that she has become known as 'The Human Lie Detector."

As a lot of people know, Alice's dad was a minister and his father in law is a minister as well. Alice's mom is still active with the church. So, stories fly around. For instance, Alice may have driven his mom to some church function and the next thing you know, people are saying that he was born again. It's no different than the chicken killing story. Alice is not a Satanist but he's not a religion nut either.

On the way to the eighth square, Alice meets many various characters and visits many places. She goes on a train that doesn't stop, along with The Goat, The Horse, and The Gentleman in Paper Suit. She meets The Gnat king, as well as Tweedledum and Tweedledee, who sing the story of "The Walrus and the Carpenter". She bumps into The White Queen, who speaks about the ways of the land and ends up turning herself into a sheep. She is then chased by a giant bird, which she initially thought was the Jabberwocky, and meets Humpty Dumpty. The Jabberwocky appears again, and Alice flees when it pursues her after knocking Humpty Dumpty off a wall. Alice then meets The White King and his Messenger, who bring Alice to see the Lion and the Unicorn, who are fighting for the crown.

Alice has been married to Sheryl Cooper (nee Goddard 20th May) since 20th March 1976 and they have three children, Calico (b. 19th May 1981 - Calico means `Many Colours`), Dashiel (b.June 20th 1985 - named after author Dashiel Hammett), and Sonora Rose (b.14th Dec 1992). All go by the name Cooper. Calico Cooper is of course now well known to Alice fans the world over having followed in her mothers footsteps by being part of all Alice tours since 'Brutal Planet' in 2000 playing the female parts on stage including Nurse Rozetta, Britney Spears and the Whipgirl for 'Go To Hell' even being introduced on stage by Alice as 'My own little nightmare'. She has her sights set on a movie career. Dashiel ... has a band in Phoenix called 'Runaway Phoenix'.

Alice in America-Land will be presented from February 14 through March 14, 2004. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 3 pm at the Broadway Playhouse, 4010 El Camino Avenue in Sacramento.
