Alfa Romeo: Alfa Romeo Brera
built 608 days ago
Alfa Romeo Brera by Lester Alfa Romeo Brera is a beautiful car, no question about it. And the folks at Lester made sure it gets even better. The body kit by Lester personalizes its frontal with changes to the air intake, to the inferior grill, with an overturned trapezoid shape, besides new elements, like the sculpted profiles of the new bumper. The rear part becomes more aggressive, with the adoption of a rear apron and of an aerodynamic spoiler which intensifies the sporty inclination of the car. Click for more pics.
2006 Alfa Romeo Brea Alfa Romeo will use the Geneva auto show as the launch platform for a glamorous new coupe, the Brera. The car takes its styling keynotes and name from a concept shown in Geneva in 2002 by famed Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. That Brera was obviously much more than a concept... for it made a number of public appearances where it was driven under its own power, something that most concepts are not capable of doing. It was the star of the show three years ago, and it is no surprise that it now sees the light of day as a production model.
In 1995 Alfa Romeo ceased exporting cars to the US. While rumours occasionally surface of their intent to return to that market, no formal plans have ever been announced. The most credible is a rumour that, with Maserati's help, the Alfa Romeo 159 and Alfa Romeo Brera will be the make's pilot models should it reenter the North American market.
