Under the terms of the collaboration, Alba will receive an initial, non- refundable licensing payment of US$ 25 million. Joint development costs toward global approval of AT-1001 will be shared 50/50 after the completion of two Phase 2 studies for Celiac disease. Alba is eligible to receive over US$ 80 million if certain clinical, regulatory and launch milestones are met for certain GI indications. Additional milestone payments totaling over US$ 40 million per indication will ... be payable to Alba if the Collaboration is expanded beyond GI indications. Alba is also eligible to receive up to US$ 220 million in sales-based milestones, as well as tiered royalties. Alba's career kicked into high gear in 2000 when she was cast as the genetically perfect Max on James Cameron's post-“Titanic†(1998) TV series, "Dark Angel.†Her popularity skyrocketed along with the show's success. In the first season, she was nominated for a Golden Globe and she won the TV Guide Award as Breakout Star of the Year – ... the very expensive series folded in 2002 despite its devoted core following. The Alba field, which began producing in 1991, is estimated to contain a producible resource of 5 trillion cubic feet of dry gas and 300 million barrels of condensate. Currently, 230 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) gross of wet gas is produced, from which approximately 17,000 barrels per day gross of condensate and 2,400 barrels per day gross of LPG are recovered through process facilities on Bioko Island. Approximately 115 mmcfd of the remaining lean gas is then fed to the methanol plant. Marathon's net share of production is expected to average almost 18,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOE/d) in 2002.
