Al Gore's future biography will closely follow that of Earth itself. In 2097, after a lengthy bout with (and successful recovery from) old age, Al Gore will start a religion based on Scientology, neo-paganism, Islam, a kooky version of environmentalism, and vegetarianism. It will be called Gaiaism and its followers will be inducted into the church by repeating the following prayer three times out loud while facing each in succession: Soviet Russia, Stonehenge, Eurabia, and the Amazon Rain Forest. The Al Gore traveling road show would have at least some credibility if he would stop generating the gasses he claims are drowning the polar bears! How about Algore trekking across the prairies on foot? Algore sailing across the earth’s oceans with nary an auxillary greenhouse-gas producing engine? This spreading the word while burning up tons of jet fuel is getting old, Al!

The other widely publicized Al Gore scandal has to do with the many fundraising phone calls he made from his official residence. The calls themselves are not that big a deal -- most congressman do the same, they just don't live in a government-owned building -- but two bad things are clear from all of this.
