Parisi today asked Fishkill Town Justice Harold Epstein to set bail for Akon at $5,000. Epstein said a $5,000 bail would not be a deterrent to Akon, who has sold more than a million records and co-authored a song with superstar Gwen Stefani. Epstein declined to set bail, ordered attorneys for both sides to next appear before him March 5 and maintained a waiver of Akon's obligation to appear in court.
