Air France: Flights
built 628 days ago
Most of Air France's international flights operate from Paris Charles de Gaulle. Air France ... has a strong presence at Paris Orly and Lyon Saint-Exupéry. Some flights operate out of Nice Côte d'Azur Airport.
In 2006, the 8,100 Air France employees at CDG handled 31.8 million passengers with close to 280,000 takeoffs and landings. That breaks down to an average of 910 daily flights and 92,200 daily passengers, 56% of which have connecting flights with 34,000 items of connecting baggage.
Air France flights were disrupted because of several days of strikes by flight attendants, the Associated Press reported from Paris, but officials hoped for improvements this week. Flight attendants were striking over pay and working conditions, but negotiations were expected to resume. The labor action, during a holiday period in France, "proved more disruptive than the company had initially projected, with fallout from domestic delays affecting long-haul flights and international connections as well," the AP reported.

A predeparture drink, enhanced meal service, and feather pillows and blankets are offered.
Image: Air France Air France has initially supplied Geovision flight-information-display CD-ROMs containing satellite images of terrain and departure and destination cities to its fleet of Boeing 777-300ERs. The carrier now operates 14 777-300ERs, but is due to add many more to its fleet. Ultimately, Air France ... will introduce the new satellite-image program to the rest of its long-haul fleet.

Air France flies all around Europe and is a great choice for flying into France. Most flights connect through Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport. Air France provides many flights to former French colonies, which includes many countries in Africa if you're travelling on that way.
