Airfare Maharishi Tom Parsons of Bestfares.com, who closely tracks movements in ticket prices, said he's seen a surprising spike in cheap fares for the summer months. That's unprecedented for this time of year, he said, because usually the airlines don't decide on how cheap to price their leisure summer fares until closer to the season.

THE REGION JetBlue Airways Corp. said it is bringing back the $25 one-way fares between Logan International Airport and Dulles International Airport in northern Virginia that were briefly offered in November.
