1. Aids in the Workplace

   Live Aid was a charity rock concert that took place in more than one stadium. It was held on July 13, 1985. It was organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise money for Africa, whose citizens were not getting enough food. Live Aid was held in two places at the same time: Wembley Stadium in London, and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia. The concert raised over $280 million.

   The agreement with Rite Aid is the latest in the multi-state enforcement effort by attorneys general to focus on retailers that have high rates of tobacco sales to minors. Similar agreements have been reached with Walmart and Walgreens stores, and gas stations operated by Exxon-Mobil, Arco, and BP-Amoco.

To check on a person's temperature, have at least (2) oral thermometers and (1) digital thermometer for children available in the kit, vital stats are important for medical personnel to know when they arrive.
7. Aids in the Workplace -- Hiv/Aids
   This research symposium was the first on HIV/AIDS in the workplace in South Africa. It was held in 2004 and focused in a critical way on HIV/AIDS and the world of work, without the commercial agendas that so often cloud discussion and debate. Some 30 research papers were presented and 10 round table discussions conducted.
8. Rite Aid -- Rite Aid Corporation
   Although Rite Aid Corporation was not formally incorporated until 1968, it got its start a few years earlier through Rack Rite Distributors, Inc., developed by Alex Grass, Rite Aid's founder and later chairman and chief executive officer. Grass had founded Rack Rite in 1958 to provide grocery stores with health and beauty aids, as well as other nonfood products. In 1962 U.S. federal legislation repealed the fair trade laws that fixed minimum retail prices on most products, opening up the door to discount stores, price wars, and vigorous competition. Quick to take advantage of the situation, Rite Aid opened its first discount drugstore in 1962 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Called the Thrif D Discount Center, this was the forerunner of the modern Rite Aid drugstores.

10. Financial -- Financial Aid Office
    The mission of the Financial Aid Office at CalArts is to help students in meeting their costs of attendance at the institute. CalArts is committed to offering a wide range of financial assistance to its students. While the primary responsibility for meeting college costs rests with the student and the student’s family, many families have limited resources and are unable to meet the high cost of college without financial assistance. Therefore, all applicants to CalArts are encouraged to apply for financial aid. (Applying for admission and applying for financial aid are two separate processes.) International students are not eligible for federal and state assistance.
