Annika Sorenstam Ai Miyazato of Japan saved par with a seven-foot putt on the 17th hole in the playoff, and two-putted from 35 feet on the 18th hole for par to secure one spot. The other went to Natalie Gulbis, who ... had pars on the two playoff holes.

Pressel, Lee, and Miyazato all missed the cut today. Ai had one of today’s biggest turnarounds. She was -3 through 12 holes and then proceeded to play the last six holes in five over par. A double bogey five on the 17th eliminating Ai from contention.
Gulbis (75), Miyazato (72) and Sorenstam (73) ended 36 holes tied at 3- over 147 to force the playoff. They each made par at the first extra hole, the par-3 17th. But on the next hole, the difficult 18th, Sorenstam bogeyed while Gulbis and Miyazato both parred.
Miyazato, 66-69-70-66-72=343 (-17), did not have to face too much pressure as she entered the final round with a 12-shot advantage. After bogeying the first hole of the day to fall back to 16-under, Miyazato calmed down and birdied holes three, four and six, making the turn at 19-under-par. On her back nine she did not fare as
