January 13, 2008 -- International collaborations funded in part by the National Institute on Aging have uncovered new evidence that common genetic variants are linked to certain disease risk factors and to physical traits. Articles in the February 2008 issue of Nature Genetics present data from genome-wide association studies employing powerful new technology.
