BET's new advertising network will allow advertisers to easily target African American consumers across relevant and professional websites. In turn, BET's vertical advertising network will offer website publishers increased revenue opportunities by aligning publishers with top quality advertisers trying to reach urban and African-American consumers. Currently, BET has more than 30 premium content sites in the network. According to Jupiter Research, African Americans are likelier to positively respond to online advertising, and are the second largest online minority after Hispanics with 22.7 million users.

NEW YORK, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- NYSE Euronext and BLACK ENTERPRISE Magazine pay tribute to the past, present and future of African Americans on Wall Street by ringing the NYSE closing bell on Monday, April 16. The ceremony, which officially ends the day's trading at the world's largest marketplace, is followed by a fundraiser on Wednesday, April 25 benefiting the upcoming documentary, Wall Street In the Black, and Operation HOPE, Inc., a non-profit organization teaching youth the importance of financial literacy.
