The building will function as a new national distribution center for Adidas, primarily serving markets in mainland China. An existing ProLogis customer at the park, Adidas will relocate from a smaller 172,000-square-foot (16,000 square meters) facility when the new building is completed, expected in the second half of 2006. ProLogis, through a previously announced joint venture, will lease more than 646,000-square-feet (60,000 square meters) to Adidas at ProLogis Park Suzhou, located within Suzhou Industrial Park, one of the China's key manufacturing and distribution hubs. The park is 50% owned by ProLogis' equity joint-venture partner, Suzhou Logistics Centre Co., Ltd.
