Adellion is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online RolePlaying Game) in a medieval setting. Adellion will be a diverse and vast world with many possibilities and options for the player. In fact anyone with enough dedication should be able to directly affect Adellion's future. Founding a town, leading an army and farming land and many more things will be possible for the player to do. The permadeath, the building of Empires, the technology tree and the multiple innovations are some of the unique and original elements of Adellion.

Adellion is playable through any browser supporting Java and VRML. The emphasis is on hard-core role playing devoid of magic and player killing. Beta 1 is scheduled for November the first, open beta Q1 2001

After considerable discussion Adellion finally has an initial Alpha date for first visitation by prospective players. The month of October,2004 has been targeted as the date during which the game will initially get its first public visitors.

Currency in Adellion varies from culture to culture as some cultures value water over coin. Prices will follow the supply & demand model. Additionally culture and town leaders will be able to block the use of foreign currency in their towns, making trade embargoes a reality.

HonourBound is creating a truly unique MMORPG in that Adellion can and must be played entirely through your computer's Web browser, using a java client. This obviously has great repercussions, in that just about any modern PC can play Adellion and Adellion will be, for the moment, free to own and the monthly use fee will be a fraction of current MMORPGs. All that's required to play this isometric MMORPG is a browser plug-in. With the game engine so easily taken care of, plenty of time is left free for HonourBound to concentrate on gameplay.
