Adam West once again provided the voice of Batman, in the CGI animated brickfilm, Batman: New Times. In that movie, he starred alongside Mark Hamill, who provided the voice of The Joker and had originally played the role on Batman: The Animated Series.
Adam West stepped into the role of comic crime fighter Batman in the television series of the same name during the 1960s. Marketing tie-ins to the Caped Crusader abounded, everything from lunchboxes and pajamas to recordings. The 7" single "Batman and Robin," backed by "The Story of Batman," was released by Target Records in 1976 in the U.K. Two decades later, Varese Sarabande put a bunch of Batman-related songs together under the title Batmania -- Songs Inspired by the Batman TV Series. Included in the album are the television show's theme and a song called "Miranda," which is sung by West. Among the other contributors are Peggy Lee, Jan & Dean, and [T]he Combo Kings. 20th Century Fox put out a single of West's "Miranda" in 1966.
Adam West Adam West was raised on his family's farm, and as a boy he liked Batman comics. As a young man he served a stint in the Army, then worked at odd jobs until his resonant voice got him work as a radio disk jockey. Living in Hawaii, West eventually found work as the sidekick and eventual star of The Kini-Popo Show, a local children's show co-starring a chimp.

Adam West, Batman Adam West is doomed by the fact that he's on what is basically children's telivision. While the other three can use any degree of force they like, West can't ever kill or even seriously injure anyone for fear of being edited out by the network censors. Also, he just doesn't have the special effects budget to compete.
