Major John Casey works for the National Security Agency, and has been tasked to protect Chuck, an ordinary worker for Buy More Electronics Store, as he accidentally downloaded all of the government's most vital information into his head. Chuck then becomes the new target of assassins and international terrorists, and John is tasked to guard Chuck with his life.
