Im Oktober/November 2005 gab es nach langer Zeit erstmals wieder Live-Auftritte von Ace of Base, nämlich im Rahmen der Night of the Proms in Antwerpen. Allerdings trat die Band ohne Linn auf. Mit "The Sign/All that she wants","Beautiful life" und "Life is a flower" spielten sie ihre kommerziell erfolgreichsten Hits.

Look, it's not as if Ace of Base chose to come from Sweden. So keep those pathetically easy, inaccurately dismissive ABBA comparisons to yourself. These particular northerners were jaded club rats, not bubblegum Scandi- naifs.

In a recent press release, the spokesperson for Swedish Heaven, a website claiming to be one of the largest online communities of Ace Of Base fans, indicated in a release that there is an "international rebellion" stirring up against the label. People from around the world are apparently aching to hear just one new chord from the band that brought "The Sign" to lip-sync contests and karaoke machines everywhere.

In Europe, Ace of Base won the award for "World's Best-Selling Scandinavian Artist" at the 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1997 World Music Awards in Monaco, at which they performed each year.
