Accupril: Blood Pressure
built 633 days ago
Accupril is a medicine prescribed for the treatment of high blood pressure, hypertension and in some cases of congestive heart failure. Accupril may ... be used for other purposes other than the ones previously mentioned.
Source:
Accupril® belongs to a group of medications called ACE inhibitors. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It works by relaxing blood vessels, causing them to widen. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks and kidney problems.
If you want to see the positive effects of Accupril, you must take it regularly for it to be effective. Since blood pressure declines gradually, it may be several weeks before you get the full benefit of Accupril; and you must continue taking it even if you are feeling well.
