Ms. Herald joined Gasco in 2002 as Controller, was later named Vice President and Controller and was appointed Chief Accounting Officer in June 2006, a position she continues in addition to her new duties as Vice President, Accounting and Administration. She has over 19 years of financial, accounting and reporting experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Gasco, she served as the Financial Reporting Manager for Hallwood Energy Corporation, where she managed the financial reporting process for several publicly traded oil and gas corporations and limited partnerships. Brassfield has more than 26 years of experience in finance and accounting. He joined Parker Drilling in 1998 as controller and principal accounting officer. From 1991 through 1998, Mr. Brassfield served in various positions, including subsidiary controller and director of financial planning of MAPCO Inc., a diversified energy company. From 1979 through 1991, Mr. Brassfield served at the public accounting firm of KPMG. He holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Tulsa.
Following the previously announced retirement of Robert M. Plante, Michael A. Stivala has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer in addition to his present role as Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Stivala has served as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since May 2005. As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer, Mr. Stivala will be responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of the Partnership. Prior to joining the Partnership in 2001, he spent 10 years with the international accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
